Bridging the World

„Bridging the World“ presents people from all over the world who are currently learning German, or who have learnt German at some stage of their life. They describe their reasons for learning German as another language, and how this decision has influenced and enriched their lives. They regard German as a bridge to the world of history, arts and culture; to business, science and technology, and a bridge to other countries and cultures of our world.

“German means for us a bridge to the world, which connects us with all peoples speaking this language, independent of where they live, be they in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Croatia, the US, Africa or Australia.“
Galina Kiseleva, Russia
