Having lived and studied in Australia, England and presently domiciled in her homeland Sri Lanka, Alefiya finds a convenient blend of her love for the outdoors and her love of photography.
When not precariously mountain biking on rugged terrain, or scuba diving off the scores of the Sri Lanka, she is to be found working with her chief critic, pet Labrador Cuba.
This is the second of two workshops conducted by the Goethe-Institut which she has participated in; Imagine Tropics and Urban changes.
She is currently based out of Colombo and works on selected commercial shoots and pursues her own documentary work.
