About Urban Changes

Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai organised a photography workshop with a special focus – to capture and present images of India through the lenses of well-known young photographers from the South Asia region.

The workshop was conducted and curated by the Berlin based photographer Andrea Kuenzig. We are delighted to present this exhibition comprising select images from the body of work created by participants during this workshop.

The topic „Urban Changes” has a large canvas as such and the approaches of photographic exploration are manifold. In their endeavour to present their perception of “Urban Changes” the photographers got an opportunity to identify their individual forté in this field and develop his/her own stylistic approach in photography. They primarily focused on the development of urban and rural structures in the era of globalization, using photography as an art form and also a medium for juxtaposition.

Andrea KünzigThe project was conducted by the sophisticated photographer Andrea Kunezig,
who lives in Belin, Germany. She is specialised in international photography and
supplying magazines and international organisations with expressive photographs.
