Biography
John Phillip Wymer (1904-1995) worked as a statistician for the National
Bureau of Standards. But on weekends between 1948 and 1952, his hobby
was to document Washington by photographing all sections of the city in
a systematic manner. This article gives more background on Wymer's amazing
