SEVENTH AND H STREETS

West Side of 7th Street Looking North from H Street NW. This photograph from the Historical Society's Wymer Collection shows the street as it looked on October 23, 1949, when John P. Wymer was taking snapshots in our neighborhood. The shoe store at the corner is now Starbuck's (note: the building was designed by Julius Germuiller) and G. C. Murphy's 5 & 10 is just south of where you'll find Goethe-Institut today.
