Thomas Jonigk was born in Eckernförde in 1966. He took Medieval Studies, Modern German Literature and Theatre Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin. His close collaboration with the director Stefan Bachmann began with the founding of "Theater Affekt”, an independent theatre group. From 1997 to 1999 he was head dramaturge and director at the Wiener Schauspielhaus under Hans Gratzer. Thomas Jonigk lives and works as a freelance writer in Berlin. |
