Philipp Löhle was born in 1978 at Ravensburg. He studied history, drama, media studies and German literature in Erlangen and Rome. His first plays were written while he was still a student. “BUY-LAND” was premiered in 2005 by the Theater Erlangen. In addition to this, he has worked as a journalist and filmmaker (short films, documentaries, placements). At the moment, Philipp Löhle is author in residence at the Theater Aalen, where he is working on the development of a new play.

  • 2008: Baden-Württemberg Youth Theatre Prize project scholarship to develop a play at the Theater Aalen
