After completing her classical dance education at the National Academy for Dance in Budapest, Eszter Salomon moved to France in 1992, where she began working with various choreographers. She has been creating solo and group pieces, which have been shown at various international festivals, since 2001. In 2008, Eszter Salomon took part in the research project 6M1L (6 Months 1 Location) at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier. In 2009, she developed “Transformers”, a workshop research project for an upcoming group piece, in cooperation with Christine de Smedt. “Voice-over”, a solo commissioned by Cristina Rizzo, was premiered in late October 2009 at RED – Reggio Emilia Danza. In 2011, she will develop a science-fiction music performance.
