Event: “Transformation and Culture”
For a number of years now, many countries in the Arab World have been going through a process of change, facing them with extraordinary challenges. The arts and culture, the media and the educational sector are chief elements and engines of social change as well as reflections and commentators of the events in the region.
The event Transformation and Culture organized by the Foreign Office and the Goethe-Institut opens up a window on the transformation processes from the perspectives of the arts and culture. Cultural stakeholders and educational professionals from the Arab World will share their experiences, successes and assessments with the audience. This event offers talks and panel discussions, a dance performance from Tunisia and also very personal conversations with stakeholders from civil society in the Arab World.
