In 2013, the Goethe-Institut is offering an advanced training course in the field of cultural management for Tunisian cultural sector professionals from private and public institutions.

The programme includes a theoretical and a practical section; the latter will be completed as an internship within a German cultural institution. The programme aims both to convey business-management skills to the participants for their specific cultural work and to intensify the dialogue between public and private cultural institutions in Tunisia and between Tunisia and Germany.

The advanced training course conducted by the Goethe-Institut with the consulting firm denkmodell covers all areas of cultural project planning, thus enabling the Tunisian cultural sector professionals to enter into a dialogue with German experts, expand their own network and gain insights into the work of cultural institutions in Germany.

The advanced training course consists of the following modules:
  • Programme planning and project management
  • Strategy
