Hadia GanaHadia Gana

Hadia Gana, born on 15 December 1973, received her degree in Ceramic and Glass Arts at the University of Tripoli. She works as an art teacher at the primary school of Tripoli, was part of the faculty of El Zawia University and was also involved in the redesign of the Libyan pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai Expo. She is presently manager of the Ali Gana Foundation for Art and Culture, a society that will manage the Ali Gana Museum, which is still in the planning stages. She hopes that the advanced training course will give her better understanding of cultural policy processes and relations as well as insights into the management, funding possibilities and curatorial tasks of museums.
