ANDRÁS MINK
András Mink studied history and literature at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Following his MA degree he worked as a journalist for the weekly Beszélő, and became its chief editor in 2003. In 1994 he joined the Hungarian Helsinki Committee as program director and started working for Open Society Archives (OSA) as an archivist and historian. His publications cover the history of Communism and Cold War, post-war Hungarian history, the 1956 revolution, and the Kádár-era as well as the history of the dissident and the human rights movements. He is one of the teaching fellows on the Archives, Evidence and Human Rights course offered by OSA. Part of his professional duties at OSA Archivum is to edit and organize historical exhibitions and projects related to the recent past for Galeria Centralis, the exhibit hall of OSA Archivum.
