Sharing on social networks - Panel with Nicholas A. John, Florian Rötzer and Georg Staebner © Mr. TinDC
Sharing is the key concept of Web 2.0
Whether it’s your status on Facebook, your holiday photo on Instagram or a tweet on Twitter, sharing is the basic activity of all users of social media. In this context, in recent years a new understanding of sharing has emerged. When, however, did “sharing” became a term dominating the social networks? Why is it that we now share more and more personal information online with the whole world? Nicholas A. John will talk about sharing on social networks and the impact of this phenomenon on our view of community.
