Whether cooperatives, solidary residential forms, exchange rings or direct farm marketing – in countries like Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela, solidary economic projects are gaining strength.
The vivid scenes of community initiatives are increasingly being used as a social and economic policy tool of the governments in these countries. What do the governments of Latin America do to promote collaborative economies and what are the consequences of the intervention? What cultural traditions enable increased willingness to exchange and network in these societies?
