SHARING AND MOBILITY - Talk © Matthias Ripp
In times of dwindling resources, urban density and increasing traffic, sharing information has become the most vital issue for further development of mobility systems. How is individual travel behaviour gathered and how can it be made usable to coordinate transport systems? How can modern communication technology be used for solving allocation problems, for instance with regard to carpooling, parking and the utilization of public transport? Professor Jochem Heizmann from the board of Volkswagen AG discusses these and other issues with the German mobility researcher and futurologist Stephan Rammler.
