Curriculum Vitae

Dulce Chacón studied fine arts at the UNAM Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas. She has exhibited her work in a variety of places, for example in the Museo Carrillo Gil, in Ex Teresa Arte Actual, in the Centro de la Imagen, in MUCA in the Roma district of Mexico City, in the Spanish Cultural Centre and at the biennale in Yucatán in 2004. She has also exhibited her work abroad, in France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, the USA and Uruguay. From 1998 to 2003 she was a member of the Colectivo Atlético, with which she organized a number of events and exhibitions in Mexico and abroad.

She completed a course in interdisciplinary art at the Academie Minerva Faculteit der Kunsten in the Dutch city of Groningen in 2001. Since 2007 she has taught at the Universidad Centro de Cine y Televisión. She is a member of a group that is represented by the gallery harto_espacio, which is based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
