Timur Akhmetov, Russia: The Berlin Wall is a symbol of the divided nation. It's a kind of barrier that can be destroyed if each of us summons his strength and just oversteps it.Timur Akhmetov (19)
Russia

"The Berlin Wall is a symbol of the divided nation. It's a kind of barrier that can be destroyed if each of us summons his strength and just oversteps it."

Miguel Vazquez, Spain: The predominant idea that springs to mind when I think of the association walls/borders is of the exclusion of one side from the other which is supposed to be protected. The duality caused where the so-called enemies/others usually turn into victims who commonly suffer a violation of their rights as citizens and as human beings. Whenever there is a wall limiting a border there are two faces confronted which share the misery in one way or another, phisically or spiritually, because they both have the same origin and root.Miguel Vazquez (30)
