Goethe-Institut provides a range of scholarships for teachers of German, future teachers of German and experts in key positions in the field of education.
Language Proficiency Scholarships

Current and future teachers of German, (DipEd/BEd/Bteach Students), librarians managing the Goethe-Institut’s Resource Centres, principals and persons in key positions in education with a good basic knowledge of German can apply for a four-week German language course at a Goethe-Institut in Germany. Language Course scholarships offer the opportunity to improve and update German language skills in a German-speaking environment. The cultural and leisure program offered within the course will enable to learn more about Germany. Furthermore, all course locations offer the option to prepare for internationally recognised German language exams.

The Goethe-Institut language course scholarship program is supported by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, Canberra.
Teachers from SA, TAS, VIC and WA apply through our Melbourne office.
Teachers from ACT, NSW, NT and QLD apply through our Sydney office.
