studied Philosophy and German in Munich and Paris
1971 PhD on "The Problem of Absurdity in the works of Camus"
starts working as a free-lance writer
publishes his first volume of poetry "Widersprüche"
1972-1982 editor of the "Autoren Edition"
1979  Literary Award of the City of Bremen
1981-1983 residencies in Rome, South America, Africa and New York
1989 Literary-Award of the City of Munich
1990 The German Book Award for Youth Literature
