2009 - 8th Audi Festival of German Films

A total of 31 films were selected for the 8th German Film Festival 2009 in Australia which took place in several venues across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in April. The 2009 festival did not only have the largest selection of films ever, but also reached more people than any other Festival of German Films before in Australia. Our festival guests Anna Maria Muehe and Robert Stadlober proved to be very popular with a surprising number of old and new fans. Our four panel discussions as well as the seminars involved the audience in ongoing dialogue.
