Unscrupulous journalist Sebastian Zöllner is planning the next big step in his career: a biography of the once-famous ‘blind artist’ Manuel Kaminski. He has no qualms about intruding into the ageing painter’s home, life and past, unceremoniously taking him on a journey to reunite him with a lost lover – the anticipated highlight of the book. But is the young biographer or his subject really in charge of the plot? A hugely entertaining trip through life and art starring Daniel Brühl as the egocentric journalist, Jesper Christensen as the elusive Kaminski, and a delightful addition of Geraldine Chaplin as Kaminski’s teenage sweetheart.

Following the success of Good Bye, Lenin! (2003), the ‘dream team’ Wolfgang Becker and Daniel Brühl reunite after over a decade to adapt this hilarious novel by the acclaimed author Daniel Kehlmann. www.ichundkaminski.x-verleih.de
