Lynden BarberLynden Barber is a Sydney-based freelance journalist specialising in film and music and a feature film script assessor. His professional journalism appears most frequently in The Australian and Limelight magazine while his non-professional writing appears frequently on his personal blog site, Eyes Wired Open.
Before serving as Artistic Director of the Sydney Film Festival in 2005 and 2006 Barber was the staff film writer at The Australian for a decade, and before that the senior film critic at The Sydney Morning Herald for five years. Born in the UK, Barber moved to Australia in 1985.
