Dancing Dreams follows the journey of 40 teenagers from eleven schools in Wuppertal who participated in the dance performance “Kontakthof”. Every week over a period of 12 months these teenagers rehearsed under the supervision of Pina Bausch, the world famous German dancer and choreographer. Barely a year after the project began Pina Bausch was dead and the work remains to bear testimony to the genius of this remarkable woman.
