The film, subtitled “Six Glances at a Generation” is a fascinating compilation of short films by six young filmmakers from Eastern Europe. They interpret the traditions and national histories of their countries and how change has made them different from the generation of their parents. The film project was proposed by artistic director Nikolaj Nikitin and developed in conjunction with the Cologne production company Icon Film.
