Venue in Woollahra available for hire
The Goethe-Institut in Sydney is pleased to hire out a large multi-purpose room to the following organisations:
- Cultural institutions
- Music ensembles and small theatre groups
- Community groups and other organisations, including businesses
The Goethe-Institut Sydney is housed in an attractive heritage building located in one of Sydney's most prestigious streets.
The facilities of the room itself include a stage, chairs, and an audio/video system. A piano may be hired for an additional charge. The room has capacity for 120 people seated.
Use of our foyer with adjoining kitchen is included in any hire of the main room. The kitchen can be used by catering services to provide light refreshments at any function.
You can also make use of our large balcony with tables and chairs. It is located off the foyer and features expansive views over leafy Ocean Road, Woollahra - perfect for drinks and snacks!
Please note: The proposed use of the venue should be consistent with the philosophy of the Goethe-Institut.
