Our collection of approximately 400 films includes a wide variety of feature films, German film classics, documentaries, children’s films, short films and animation films. All films are available on DVD (with a small selection also available on 16mm) in German with English or French subtitles. The films may be borrowed for free by educational and cultural institutions for non-profit purposes only.
With the search mechanism you can select films by theme (music films, literature, environment, politics, etc.), by genre (fiction films, documentaries, literary adaptations, silent films, etc.), and by director (R.W. Fassbinder, Fatih Akin, etc.), in order to find the films you are looking for.
