1998-2004 studies pohto design at the Design Department fo the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, Germany

2000 Photographer in the team of of Jochen Gerz for the project “The Gift” (Das Geschenk) as part of the exhibit “Vision Ruhr” in the Zeche Zollern, Dortmund, Germany

2004 Member of the “Pixelprojekt Ruhrgebiet”, an association of independent photographers in the Ruhr region

Degree work in England entitled “In Search of Paradise” under the supervision of Prof. Heiner Schmitz
