Festival international de la littérature

Lisez l'Europe at the Festival International de Littérature (FIL)

"Lisez L'Europe" at the Festival International de Littérature (FIL) is a unique opportunity to discover the different faces of contemporary European literature in the company of writers from France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

The theme chosen for 2011 was traveling. Our activities were divided among three categories:
Cinévoyage, a series of travel films;
Cheminements autour des mots, round-tables on literature and travel;
Odyssée dans la ville, a literary journey through downtown Montreal.

The following links will give you more information about the six authors who have been invited for this year: Paul Fournel (France), Niklas Maak (Germany), Fabio Geda (Italy), Lídia Jorge (Portugal), Antonio Orejudo (Spain) and Carles Casajuana (Spain - Catalonia). The links above detail their activities during the Festival.

Thank you for participation and see you next year!
