Target Group
- At least 2 years work experience
- Applicant works in following areas:
• public art museums, non-profit private art museums or art media, people who are engaged in organizing art exhibitions, in public art education, or in the PR departments of a museum.
• performing arts institutions, cultural centers (“multiplex”), festivals, music and cultural agencies, administration as well as media sector - Applicants can apply from every region of China.
- Applicants should be skilled in the use of oral and written English.
- Applicants should be under the age of 40 and the maximum size of the group will be 18 participants.
Cost
Goethe-Institut China will cover the following cost:
- Intensive German language course in Beijing
- Theory course in Beijing
- Study evaluation and graduation ceremony in Beijing
- Accommodation in Berlin (single room for each person)
- Per diem during the stay in Berlin (lump sum: 700 Euro)
- Local transportation in Berlin (monthly ticket for public transportation)
- Study course at IKM and internship in relative institutions in Berlin
- Health insurance during the stay in Germany
- Visa fee
- Roundtrip flight: Beijing – Berlin – Beijing (economy class)
- All expenses for transport to and from the Goethe-Institut Peking (as well as for accommodation, if needed) when attending the selection interview (if selected) and the two program sessions in Beijing.
- Each selected participant shall pay a lump sum of RMB 12,000 to the Goethe-Institut Peking, for administrative overheads as well for teaching materials etc.
- Payment shall be received no later than 30th July 2011
Scholarships:
A limited number of scholarships will be available.

Requirements for applicants:
- At least 2 years work experience in addition to the requirement that the applicant works in following areas:
• public art museums, non-profit private art museums or art media, people who are engaged in organizing art exhibitions, in public art education, or in the PR departments of a museum.
• performing arts institutions, cultural centers (“multiplex”), festivals, music and cultural agencies, administration as well as media sector - Good oral and written English, knowledge of German will be an advantage
- Not older than 40 years
