Remix, Memes are examples of innovative tools, which are received very different worldwide. What artistic and stylistic trends are developing here, which business models are emerging? What is original and what copy? Does it make any difference?

On March 12, 2016, the Goethe-Institute China is organizing the second round of discussions in the "Perspectives of Digital Change" series, focusing on the topic of "Digital Innovation and its Impact on our Everyday Life". Top-class speakers from China, Germany, the US and Korea approach the themes artistically, philosophically, journalistically and legally. In addition, creatives from the Chinese Internet industry, such as designers of interactive digital products, content producers with the focus on geeks, or operators of public WeChat channels, will share their personal experiences and observations in the field of Internet innovation. In a panel discussion the different assessments and experiences are compared and the question is clarified how our society changes with new digital creativity, whether there is a need for state or legal action, and where we will be in a few years.

The event is concluded with an audio-visual "remixed" performance. Three Beijing artists create a space in which a fusion of sound and visual technique and sensory impressions are combined.
