Salut Salon
Due to her exceptional talent Angelika was exempt from school. Aged only 7 she has been performing as solo violinist with renowned orchestras and won numerous national “Jugend Musiziert” first awards. In addition to her musical studies Angelika holds a degree in German literature and philosophy. Several of her latest arrangements were published in 2007 by Breitkopf & Härtel publishers.
Lara Jones – piano
As the youngest solo pianist of her home country South Africa, Lara made her debut performance at the age of 11 in Durban. In 1998, she moved to Germany to study at the Cologne University of Music, where she received her degree with distinction. International engagements as solo pianist with e.g. the Natal Philharmonic Orchestra Durban and the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra enable her to visit her home country frequently.
Iris Siegfried – violin and vocals
As winner of numerous awards Iris very early gained credit for her musical gift. Her second love besides the violin was singing. She had already demonstrated her vocal talent as an active member of several choirs and a capella groups before she founded “Salut Salon” together with her friend Angelika. In addition to her musical career Iris completed law school and gained a second post-graduate as arts manager.
Jule Hinrichsen — cello
Jule got first cello lessons from Prof. Svane and won several nationwide first prizes at "Jugend musiziert". Following her studies at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin with Prof. Jens Peter Maintz she played in the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and took part in Masterclasses e.g. with Prof. Boettcher and Prof. D. Geringas.
