LIFELINE EXPRESS – THE WORLD’S FIRST HOSPITAL TRAIN

India’s Lifeline Express is the World’s first hospital train. Kitted with state of the art medical facilities, it travels to rural and remote parts of the country providing free medical health care to the poor.

    Enrico Fabian
    born in Kamenz near Dresden, is living and working since almost 11 years in India as a freelance photographer for newspapers, magazines, GOs and NGOs. His commissioned photographic work as well as his long-term documentary projects are internationally published, exhibited and honoured (www.enrico-fabian.com) and Urvashi Aneja is an academic and policy analyst from New Delhi. She is the Founder of Tandem Research and Associate Professor of International Affairs. Her research looks at southern partnerships for development and humanitarian assistance and access to technology gains in emerging economies.
