Education and vocational training are in the process of a profound transformation and the societies of Central and Eastern Europe face the challenges related to these changes. The integration of minorities, social permeability and accessibility to the education system as well as the transition to new technical and societal demands on graduates are but a few of the numerous issues to address.
It is against this background that the “Future of Education” project has been initiated by the Goethe Institutes of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary and Lithuania in order to provide a forum for discussion on possible solutions and exchange of experience between the countries. In the four sections of this website, you will find articles by journalists and education specialists on various aspects related to the sections’ themes. Our homepage serves as the central publication site for all of the texts, while selected articles will also be made available by the respective media partners in the participating countries.
