
DSH stands for "Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber" (German language university entrance exam for foreign students). DSH preparation is carried out under our Intensiv 8 course program at the Goethe Institut in Mannheim-Heidelberg. This Goethe Institut specializes in preparatory courses for university studies and offers:
- For beginners, the courses systematically present the structures of the German language over a period of 8–10 months with the goal of taking the DSH examination for university admission.
- For advanced students (Level B2 – C1), an eight-week DSH preparatory course is offered in February/March and August/September before the university semester begins.
The course includes:
- approx. eight-week course with 170 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
- 25 units per week (45 minutes each)
- lessons from Monday to Friday
- max. class size: 16
- individual correction and advice from your teacher on your learning strategy
- individual learning in the Mediothek
- cultural and leisure-time programme
