Learning German in Germany

The intensive course program focuses fully on your success as a learner. This is ideal if you need German for your studies, your everyday working life or your personal future. And what’s more: you won’t just be learning German intensively – you’ll also get to know Germany and its people in their everyday lives as they live, work and enjoy themselves.

Choose from among the following courses:

	Intensive 8 Approximately eight weeks. 170 units of instruction (45 minutes each). New students join the course on the starting date.
	Intensive 4 Approximately four weeks. 85 units of instruction (45 minutes each). New students join the course on the starting date.
	Intensive 2 Approximately two weeks. 45 units of instruction (45 minutes each).
	Intensive 2 - Language and Culture Two weeks. 50 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
	Heidelberg Summer Course Two weeks, 40 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
	Deutsch 50 Plus Two-week course for people in the best years of their lives 40 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
	Vario Minimum duration: one week. Participants are integrated into existing groups matching their level.

Included with course fee / Notes:

• Right from the very first lesson you’ll be taught exclusively in German in a group with a maximum of 16 participants.
• All course materials are included.
• The Intensiv 8, Intensiv 4 and Intensiv 2 courses generally include 25 units of instruction (UI) per week, each lasting 45 minutes.
• You’ll learn from Monday to Friday, either mornings or afternoons.
• The Intensiv 8 and Intensiv 4 courses run continually all year, and the Intensiv 2 takes place at a number of different scheduled dates.
• You can combine the Intensiv 8 and Intensiv 4 courses for an extensive language-learning stay.

Please note: There are no lessons on the arrival and departure dates, during the Christmas period or on public holidays.

In all courses you’ll have access to the media resource center for individual practice and study. And when you take a break from your studies you can join your classmates in our exciting cultural and leisure-time program.

After successfully completing your course you can take part in a course that continues where the first one left off – either at one of our institutes in Germany or at a Goethe-Institut in your home country. You can also take one of our examinations, which are recognized around the world.
