Arrival

By plane:

Arrival at Tegel Airport: A taxi from the airport directly to the hotel costs around € 20. Or: Take the airport bus 109 in the direction of Zoologischer Garten and get off at Jakob-Kaiser-Platz underground station. From Jakob-Kaiser Platz station take the U7 in the direction of Rudow and get off at Möckernbrücke station. The hotel is a 4-minute walk from Möckernbrücke station: Walk through the tunnel to the Tempelhofer Ufer exit, following the direction of the traffic, cross Großbeerenstraße and from here it is 100m to Aletto Jugendhotel.

Arrival at Schönefeld Airport: A taxi directly to the hotel costs around € 30. Or: Take the 171 bus from Schönefeld Airport bus station in the direction of Herrmannplatz or the number X7 bus to Rudow underground station. From the station, take the U7/direction of Rathaus Spandau and get off at Möckernbrücke station. See above for the rest of the journey. The transport connections between Berlin's airports, the train stations and the hotel are so cheap, safe and simple that no individual transfers are needed.

By train:

Arrival at Zoologischer Garten station: A taxi directly to the hotel costs around € 11. Or: from Zoologischer Garten station take the U2/direction of Pankow and get off at Wittenbergplatz underground station. From Wittenbergplatz station take the U1/direction of Warschauer Straße and get off at Möckernbrücke station. The hotel is a 4-minute walk from Möckernbrücke station: Walk through the tunnel to the Tempelhofer Ufer exit, following the direction of the traffic, cross Großbeerenstraße and from here it is 100m to Jugendhotel Kreuzberg.

Arrival at Hauptbahnhof (central station): A taxi directly to the hotel costs around € 13. Or: From Hauptbahnhof bus station take the N 41 bus/direction of Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstraße and get off at Willy-Brandt-Haus bus station. From the Willy-Brandt-Haus bus station the hotel is a 9-minute walk (approx. 500 m): Cross Stresemannstraße, walk back to the major crossing, cross beneath the underground to Tempelhofer Ufer and turn right to the hotel.

By car:

Start: Leave the A100 motorway at the Tempelhofer Damm exit, drive to the traffic lights (Tempelhofer Damm). Coming from the city centre/north: Turn left on to Tempelhofer Damm, or: coming from Neukölln/Southeast: turn right on to Tempelhofer Damm, this becomes Mehringdamm. At the Mehringdamm/Yorckstraße traffic lights turn left into Yorckstraße. Turn right into Großbeerenstraße, turn right on to Tempelhofer Ufer, after 100 m you will find your goal on the right side: Aletto Jugendhotel (Tempelhofer Ufer 8-9, 10963 Berlin).

Our staff cannot guarantee transfer, or supervision on days outside the course dates. Also, we cannot provide food in the boarding school outside course dates
