Arrival

By plane:

Copyright: Goethe-Institut in Deutschland On the arrival day a bus transfer will be offered from all of Berlin's airports to the Berlin Rangsdorf boarding school from 7 am to 6 pm (you may have to wait). If you book a flight that arrives after 6 pm, you will be charged a single transfer fee of around € 50. Our staff will meet the teenagers at the meeting point in the international arrivals hall of the airport. They will be carrying a yellow Goethe-Institut sign and also have an official letter as identification. For organisational reasons we cannot tell you the name of this staff member. Please inform us of your arrival time and flight number at least three weeks before the course begins. Pick-up and return transfer costs are € 35. Please give your child this amount in an envelope.

Please purchase your return ticket, confirm your return flight and reserve your seat before arriving at the course. The bus transfer from Wannsee to all airports in Berlin will take place from morning to afternoon. A single transfer fee of around € 50 will be due for transport to the airport for flights before 9 am.

By train:

By car:

Copyright: Goethe-Institut in Deutschland Rangsdorf has excellent transport connections. It can be reached from Berlin by public transport or by car (via Bundesautobahn 10 or B 96), but is also accessible from the Leipzig and Dresden areas.

Should students be unable to arrive or depart on the specified dates, please plan to arrive the following day or to depart one day before the end of the course, respectively. Our staff cannot guarantee transfer, or supervision on days outside the course dates. Also, we cannot provide food in the boarding school outside course dates
