The Seeschule Rangsdorf boarding school is situated on the shore of the Rangsdorf Lake on a 16-hectare property with a lake and wooded grounds. The classrooms, dormitory rooms and the gymnasium were fully renovated in 2004.
Rangsdorf Lake attracts sporting enthusiasts, nature lovers and walkers all year round. It lies within a conservation area, and offers good leisure-time possibilities with its beach, adjacent park and walking trail along the lakeshore (approx. 15 km).
The town of Rangsdorf itself, just a few kilometres south of Berlin, has excellent transportation links. It is within easy reach of Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden, both by public transport and by car. It is approximately 40 minutes by regional train from the Bahnhof Zoo railway station in Berlin.
