Arrival

By plane to Munich:

Copyright: Goethe-Institut in Deutschland Most of our young guests arrive unaccompanied by plane. A bus transfer service from Munich Airport to Marquartstein is available between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on arrival day. This may involve a wait with our Goethe-Institut staff member who meets all arriving participants at the Meeting Point in the international arrivals area. The staff member is easily identifiable, with a yellow T-shirt and a Goethe-Institut sign. Please inform us in writing of your arrival time and your flight number no later than three weeks before the start of your course. The cost for the bus transfer from the airport to the school and back is € 90. Please have this amount with you on arrival. On your departure date, the Goethe-Institut staff will accompany you until you check in at the airport.

If you book a flight that arrives after 6 p.m., your taxi fare will be approximately € 170.

By train:

Copyright: Goethe-Institut in Deutschland Take a train to the station in Prien. From there, take a bus or taxi (approx. € 50) to Marquartstein. The taxi fare to the boarding school in Marquartstein is approx. € 25.

By car:

Copyright: Goethe-Institut in Deutschland Take the A8 Munich-Salzburg autobahn. Follow exit no. 106 (Bernau) or 108 (Übersee-Feldwies) or 109 (Grabenstätt), and then take the B305 road towards Reit im Winkl.


Please note

Should students be unable to arrive or depart on the specified dates, please plan to arrive the following day or to depart one day before the end of the course, respectively. Our staff cannot guarantee transfer, or supervision on days outside the course dates. Also, we cannot provide food in the boarding school outside course dates
