With its 1.35 million inhabitants, Munich is not only a major economic center. The Bavarian capital also boasts a wealth of museums and other cultural activities: open air cinemas and festivals, concerts in every genre and sporting events. The city’s most renowned museums include the Deutsches Museum, a world-famous museum of science and technology, the BMW Museum and the three Pinakothek art museums. The nearby Alps, the many lakes and the Bavarian royal castles also guarantee that the students will find plenty to see and do during their free time.
The Max Josef Stift, a boarding school with a long tradition, is situated in the beautiful neighborhood of Bogenhausen, just a few minutes from the city center by subway. In the school building, the accommodation, classrooms and canteen are under one roof. Complementing the many outdoor leisure amenities, the spacious building, with its auditorium and gymnasium, has room for indoor activities as well.
