Clara Boj & Diego Diaz
Clara Boj and Diego Diaz were both born in 1975 and have been working together since 2000. Each of them hold a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. In their work they use multimedia technologies to build new devices that combine physical and digital public space, establishing a link of continuity between old and new forms of social interaction, between public spaces and intimate environments. Together and individually they have enjoyed numerous grants and research stays at institutions such as Hangar in Barcelona, Interface Culture Lab in Linz, Symbiotic System Lab in Kyoto, and the Interaction and Entertainment Research Center in Singapore. Their works, installations, videos, and research have been presented at international festivals and exhibitions such as Transmediale 2010 in Berlin, MobileFest09 in São Paulo, New Monsters in Lille, Ars Electronica 08 in Linz, Banquet at the the ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, ISEA06 in San Jose, California, ISEA04 in Helsinki, Feedback in LABoral in Gijón; and at the Daejeon Museum of Art in Daejeon, South Korea.
