Opening
Guests from the worlds of politics, culture and media are invited to the official opening of the exhibition “gateways” at the Kumu Art Museum on 18 May 2011.
They heed the call by artist Mindaugas Gapševičius to “Get a pattern” and print t-shirts with a self-generated Internet code; they marvel over the bean that members of the artist group RIXC have planted in the Kumu; they become acquainted with Kirsten Geisler’s virtual beauty, Maja Brush; they gaze at Ingo Günther’s globes; and observe the digital snail-mail of boredomresearch.
