About the Filmmaker
Born in Cairo, Ayten Amin studied commerce at Cairo University. She studied film directing at the Art Lab where she produced Her Man, which participated in the National Film Festival in Cairo in 2007 and was selected for the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival. The film also participated in a number of other festivals and won the Mohamed Shebl first film prize in 2007. She has worked as an assistant director on a number of feature films such as Alive.
