Are you a teacher looking for materials for use in the classroom? Or have you just started to learn the German language? Then the Goethe-Institut Library is the right place for you! The Deutsch-als-Fremdsprache (DaF) Centre in the Library is exclusively devoted to German language learning and teaching materials.
The materials range from games and songbooks for primary school learners, topic folders for A-Level German pupils, and multimedia coursebooks for adult learners, to books on teaching methodology. There is something for every age group and learning level. For students preparing for Goethe-Institut exams, the DaF Centre can provide targeted practice materials, as well as our popular collection of ‘Easy Reader’ texts for improving reading skills.

Goethe-Institut language students are granted free membership of the Library for the duration of their course.
