So, you are looking for an interesting project for your German class? Would you prefer to have a local business involved so your pupils learn how they can use their foreign language skills in their jobs? Are you still looking for an exciting idea or the all-important contact – just call us! The Goethe-Institut London has developed Engage with German, which links schools and businesses that would like to run a joint community project promoting the importance of foreign language skills.
How does it all work?
Engage with German works in three ways: You as a teacher work together with your pupils when planning what kind of project you would like to organise, and the role that a local company could play. We at the Goethe-Institut help both schools and businesses from the beginning to make contacts, by showing you what other schools and businesses have done. We provide general assistance throughout the whole process - you can also find some ideas in our “Case Studies” section.
And then?
Give us a call, we will then meet up and see what we can do for you.
Apart from all that you can of course use the material that the Goethe-Institut provides to teachers of German. Teachers of German will find all our products and services organised by key stage in this section.
We would be delighted to hear from you. Maybe you have new ideas you would like to tell us about?
