Further Training for German Teachers

Grants are available for the following courses:

German for Teachers: 2 weeks in Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Freiburg, Göttingen, Hamburg, München or Schwäbisch-Hall 

German for Primary Teachers: 2 weeks in Bremen, Düsseldorf, Göttingen or Schwäbisch-Hall

 Language and Culture:  2 weeks in Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, München

The courses offer:

• Small class size (maximum 16 participants)
• Cultural and recreational programme tailored to the needs of the course
• 50 – 60 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
• Opportunities to sit in on school lessons or other activities related to the teaching profession (if appointments are available)
• Accommodation in single rooms
• Breakfast and lunch on course days
• Media centre for independent study
• All course materials
• Saturday excursions
• Health, accident and liability insurance

Applications should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from either the Head Teacher or the Head of Modern Foreign Languages outlining school plans to promote German as a Modern Foreign Language.
