School Projects

Goethe's KinderUni

For school classes with pupils aged 9 to 13 years

Do you and your pupils want to discover university life and take part in an interactive lecture?

Foto: K. FritzeAs part of the “Think German” initiative the Goethe-Institut London and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are starting a new project. Schools who offer German as part of their curriculum can enrol their pupils for a KinderUni taster lecture.

Foto: K. Fritze Experienced academics will present their Germany-related areas of teaching and research. They will talk on subjects drawn from their areas of expertise such as history, science and technology, linguistics or cultural studies.

Your pupils will be provided with teaching materials to prepare for the visit and the lecture. Afterwards, all pupils who have taken part will receive a certificate for their participation in the KinderUni project.

The project Goethe’s KinderUni supports schools and young people who are learning German.
