Library Use

The library is open to the public and reference use of the Library and Information Centre is free of charge. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland you can borrow materials. To obtain a valid reader's card please fill in an application form and provide an official document which has your home address on it (driving licence, utility bill etc). We are happy to post items to addresses outside London.

* During the building renovation in 2011 a flat rate membership fee of £8.00 will apply. 

Loan periods:
Books, CDs, CD-ROMs, magazines: 4 weeks
DVDs: 2 weeks

Renewals:
The loan period may be extended as long as the material has not been reserved. We regret that loans of DVDs cannot be extended. Renewal of loans can be made in person or by contacting the library issue desk (phone, email, fax).

Registration Form:
You can now use our downloadable registration form. Please print out the form, fill in the details and send it back to us by fax or post. We will send you your new library card right away. Please find further details on our information sheet.
