The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - DAAD) has an office in London which can answer your queries about studying in Germany. They are mainly concerned with awarding grants to university students from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. They can also provide information about study and research in Germany, and distributes brochures on these topics.The German Academic Exchange Service in London is also the liaison office for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (Association of universities and other higher education institutions in Germany), and is your first point of contact for information about the range of opportunities for studying in Germany.
