Lectutes

The medien@age had its opening in the year 2000 as “Neue Dresdner Jugendbibliothek” (Dresden’s New Library for Young People) being part of the Municipal Liberary System of Dresden. It is based on a concept which has been developed in collaboration with the Bertelsmann Foundation and aims at young customers between 13 and 25 years of age. The major target group are students of primary and secondary schools. But it also involves university students and young adults practising a profession. The medien@tage intends to take up new trends in the media world, current topics as well as new technology, and to present them in an attractive way.
